About Me

Ever since I was little, I was told by those closest to me that I had a creative flame. Rather it be in the stories I'd write in my free time or my passion for music, I have always worked extra hard to let my personality shine in everything I do. I always knew I was a strong writer, but it wasn't until High School that I discovered my passion for storytelling. Not stories like those in fairytale books, but stories about the world we live in today. I have also always been an avid sports fan, mostly for football. When I told my parents that I had found my true passion, my dad gave me the genius idea to pursue sports journalism. I haven't looked back since.

Besides my life as a writer, I am also an active musician. I have been playing percussion since the 5th grade and have participated in high school marching and wind ensemble, as well as various honor bands, and currently the UCF Concert Band. I'm also a sister of Tau Beta Sigma, a sorority dedicated to serving college bands. I whole-heartedly believe that becoming a percussionist is one of the best decisions I've ever made, and making music to this day is my favorite thing to do.
